I genuinely have no idea how people can find this thing comfortable. I verifiably purchased it, but it is just completely unusable. The ridges on this pillow prevent you from being comfortable. It really is like that because again, it doesn’t contour around your neck. I thought that was clearly an over exaggeration. Someone commented that it’s like sleeping on a plush sidewalk curb. However, it doesn’t freakin contour around your neck, so you really can’t move around this thing. Yes, the pillow is supposed to be the height of your shoulder to your neck. I understand that it’s meant for side sleepers, i get the logic of its design. This pillow doesn’t contour around your neck and it is VERY firm. Unfortunately, the best side sleeping pillow is on my bed right now, and the Pillow Cube is too expensive for me to keep in my closet as a spare, so I will be attempting to return it. This is the second best side sleeping pillow I have found. I can't fathom what extra cost I'd have to be stuck with to return this, so I'll likely just add it to the collection in the back of the closet, then continue the search. It also absorbs heat and has me tossing and turning constantly. The pillow absolutely does compress significantly, and gives no support to the neck whatsoever. I was immediately disappointed, because in no way does this feel like "laying my head on a curb" as one review claimed. $100 for one pillow is a lot of money to me, and I don't drop that cash lightly. I was legitimately hopeful after reading all the reviews of this pillow that THIS would finally be the replacement. I have constant neck, shoulder, and upper back pain from a motorcycle accident many years ago, and the only thing that helped was "the one." I have spent hundreds of dollars looking to replace it. I had the best sleep of my life during those years until it was lost.
